The new Social Center, including Beach Buddies, is a complex feature that touches different elements of the game. To ensure FarmVille 2: Tropic Escape remains an enjoyable experience for all of our players, we will be slowly releasing this feature over time. We are excited to get Beach Buddies out to all of our players and we appreciate your patience.

With the new and improved Social Center you can become friends with other players in Tropic Escape without being connected on Google + or Facebook! You can also broadcast a player code that other players can use to add you as friend.

Connect, socialize, and make more friends easily! 

Here's what you can find in the Social Center: 

The Friends Tab 

The Friend Tab displays all your friends in the game. It allows you to visit their islands, as well as view their Friend Cards. 



What's a Friend Card?

A Friend Card displays your friend's profile with the following details:
  • Player’s Name
  • Profile Picture
  • Level
  • Beach Club icon
  • Current Weekly Resort Rating points
  • Current League level
  • Other (e.g. last trophy, completed event)

The Friend Card also has the Visit button, so you can go to their island any time you wish. 



The Invite Friends button

Our new Invite Friends button allows you to do these things:
  • Invite Facebook Friends.
  • Send your invite code through email or SMS.
  • Enter a received invitation code to add someone as a friend.


The Sunshine Gifting Tab

For sending and receiving Sunshine.
  • Welcome Baskets and Helicopter Help requests will now go to the new Inbox rather than showing up here.
 

The Recommended Friends Tab

The Recommended Friends Tab allows you to view the people with whom you've recently interacted. They can be anyone from the person you recently traded with to someone who helped you, liked your island, visited your island, or visited your profile.

The Recommended Friends tab allows you to view their basic profile with the following info:
  • Player’s Name
  • Profile Picture
  • Level
  • Weekly Resort Rating points
  • Likes


It also has the green "+" sign which allows you to immediately add them as friends.

In-Game Updates Box

The In-Game Updates box helps keep you informed. Keep an eye out to get information on new releases, detailed guides for new events, access to feature information, and tips to help you with the game!
