How long does it take to process a data copy request?
Data copy downloads normally take a few hours to a few days.
 
How long does it take to process a deletion request?
We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days of the request.
 
How will I know when my data copy or deletion request is complete?
We can notify you by email or you can check the status of your request by returning to the Player Data Request Portal and signing in with your Player ID and PIN.
 
Can I cancel a deletion request?
You may cancel your deletion request for up to 7 days by returning to the Player Data Request Portal and signing in with your Player ID and PIN.
 
If I delete my account for one Zynga game, will it affect my accounts for other Zynga games?
In most cases, deleting one game account will not affect another. However, in some situations, game account data is shared across multiple games and cannot be deleted for just one game. When that is the case, the Player Data Request Portal will list all game accounts that must be deleted and ask you to confirm that you want to proceed with deleting all of them.
 
What if I want to download or delete data for multiple Zynga games?
You must request data copies and deletion on a game-by-game basis so that we can confirm in-game that you are the authorized game account holder. To make a new request, sign out of your current session and sign back in using your Player ID and PIN for each Zynga game for which you’d like to make a data request. Get help finding your Player ID and PIN.
 
I pre-registered for a game, how do I request to download or delete that data?
As Zynga pre-registration accounts have separate login requirements, you must separately request to download or delete your Zynga pre-registration account data by emailing privacy@zynga.com .
 
How do I stop receiving a game’s marketing emails?
Simply click the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of any marketing email you receive from us and follow the instructions.
 
If I participated in a Zynga forum, how do I request to download or delete that data?
Because Zynga forum accounts are are not linked to Zynga game accounts and have separate login requirements, you must separately request to download or delete your Zynga forum account data by emailing privacy@zynga.com.
 
How do I cancel my game payment subscriptions?
Your request to delete your Zynga game account will not cancel active game payment subscriptions. Subscriptions must be cancelled through the subscription provider (Apple, Google, Facebook, etc.).
 
How do I delete my game-related data for Facebook Messenger games?
To delete your Zynga game account data for a Facebook Messenger game, submit a deletion request through our Personal Data Request Portal. Game-related messages that you’ve sent or received are stored on Facebook’s servers so they will remain in your chat history unless you also request that Facebook delete the data.
 
Why can’t I request to download or delete data for certain games?
Some of our games are serverless, which means that when you download and play these games, Zynga does not collect any data about your use of the games – the games run locally on your device and do not communicate with Zynga's servers (this is sometimes referred to as running in “offline mode”). For serverless games, Zynga does not collect, store, or otherwise process any data, so we have no data to provide or delete.  Some of these games will still allow in-app purchases to unlock content. If you make an in-app purchase in one of these serverless games, you will transact directly with the relevant app store provider (i.e., Apple or Google), and not with Zynga. Zynga does not receive details of the individual transactions that you may have concluded with the relevant app store provider. For that reason, if you wish to exercise any data protection rights for those transactions, please contact the relevant app store provider.

Special Instructions for Deleting Wizard of Oz Slots or Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Slots if You Play on Multiple Devices
