The FarmVille Mines have been closed for many years, but they were super active before FarmVille was a farming town. Rusty wonders what rare materials one could find in these Mines and needs your help to uncover the lost treasures there!
If you are above Level 25, you will receive a pop-up invitation to explore “The Ole’ Mine!” , as seen below. Click on “Let’s go!” to reveal what Rusty has in store for you.
Note: You may need to reload your game to see the pop-up.
Once Rusty has finished talking to you, you will find The Ole’ Miners Tent on your farm beside the Appaloosa River.
Click on it to access the feature. Alternatively, you can click on the “Ole’ Miners Tent!” card on the left side of your screen, which will look like this:
The mining operations are on! Rusty is all set to explain everything.
To dig in the Mines, you will need Digger Shovels.
You need to complete Tasks to earn the Digger Shovels.
Keep collecting more Digger Shovels to earn amazing rewards!
You can also craft amazing Boosters that make your digging easier!
Rusty will help you make the first one!
You can enter any Mine once you have enough Digger Shovels!
You need to click on the Blocks to break them.
When you break blocks, you'll earn Dig Coins that you can use to get/redeem amazing/awesome rewards from the Miner's Store!
You will discover Hidden Treasures behind the blocks!
You can refer to the image of the treasures on the right panel. Plan on how you want to dig to uncover them all! You will earn bonus Dig Coins!
Your Boosters are located on the left panel, and each functions differently. Use them in a way that works best for you when digging in the mine!
You can ignore the Metal Blocks as these are unbreakable, and not even the Boosters can break them.
Remember to drop by daily and break a few blocks. Keep your streak going to earn awesome rewards!
Completing three (3) Streaks unlocks the Super Streak which gives even better rewards.

Completed the Mine early? Well, don't worry! You can play the Bonus Mine to earn more Dig Coins! The first Bonus Mine is on the house!
You can use all the Dig Coins earned to get cool rewards at the Miner’s Store! Just keep in mind that each item can only be redeemed once!
If you need more information, you can always click the “?” button just beside the close button to bring up the Help Screen.

Wondering how you can use the boosters?
- The Cross Digger breaks blocks in a Cross ( X ) Pattern.
The Super Excavator breaks all 9 blocks in an area in a square pattern.
Special Booster Behavior
If any Booster is used on a Silicate Block, it breaks the blocks in its usual pattern and the entire row where the Silicate block is.
Once you’ve dug through all 10 Mines, you can always go back and dig through the Bonus Mines!
