Clearing your cache (saved IDs, passwords, cookies, history, and other cached website information) makes your Nintendo Switch system run faster and smoother. Websites will also load faster on your Nintendo Switch browser. 

Below are the steps on how to clear your cache on Nintendo Switch:

1. Tap or select the System Settings from your home screen.  

2. Then scroll down to “System” and tap or select “Formatting Options”.

3. Tap or select “Reset Cache”.

4. A notification pop-up will ask you to choose the User you want to clear cached data for. 

5. Then tap or select the “Reset” button to confirm.

6. Resetting your cached data will delete your saved IDs, passwords, cookies, history, and other cached website data for the User that you have selected.

NOTE: Clearing your cached data will have no effect on the User's downloaded or saved games.
