CaRPG

  • Existing features or content that impact Live players - Daily Battles shortened from 28d to 14d 

  • Cornering is now more distinctive between cars of different Focus classes.

Daily Completable Events

Car Roster Access

  • A button on the top of the Garage Screen has been added that shows the number of cars the player owns in their collection. Tapping on it takes the player to the Car Roster screen.

  • The car info widget has been moved to the bottom center of the screen in the garage.

  • In the Car Roster screen, a widget is added to the top of the screen which shows the number of cars the player owns.

Goals Widget

  • Upgrading the look and feel of Goals Widget

  • Show progress towards goals

  • Deeplink buttons on the widget take you to the relevant screen

Collection Sets UI & Structure

  • UI refresh.

  • Intermediary Rewards added to make collecting cars feel more rewarding.

Limited Time Crates

  • Timer based Crates in game that will be used for first seasonal Crates.

Audio

  • Time trials UI animations sound instance limiting and pre-mixing

  • Removing instance limiting of time trials sounds (max 4 rather than 1)

  • Added general music transition to race intro music, to stop the fade catching the first beat when transitioning from splash. 

  • Adjusted transition rule ordering to have general catch-all rules near top, specifics further down, as noticed the respecting of rules was backwards to expectation.

  • Added music transition to delivery

  • Fix for audio bundles dropping to idle for a frame when crossing the line

  • Added selection sounds to crews type buttons

  • Audio Event to determine if it is raining or not  

Graphics

  • Directional shadows bandwidth & performance improvements

  • Environment shader permutation & RAM reduction 

  • Shadow contrast in direct Sunlight
