Updating on Zynga Connect works like the major app stores. Zynga Connect can automatically update games you’ve downloaded from the Connect app. Make sure you’ve given Zynga Connect permission to auto-update games by selecting Allow Auto-Update on the Settings screen. Alternatively you can manually update the games when notified.
