It is mostly the same as traditional Texas Hold’em with a few differences.
- The deck only contains 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, K, Q, A; there are only 36 cards in the deck!
- Hand rankings are the same as Hold’Em with one change: Flush beats a Full House.
- You can use an Ace to form High and Low straights – A 6 7 8 9 is a valid straight!
- Betting, Blinds, and Play are the same as traditional no-limit Texas Hold’Em.
Will my short-deck winning count towards my watchpoints, league standings, and challenges?
Yes, hands played in Short Deck will count towards watchpoints, leagues standings, and challenges.
Will I be able to select my stakes when playing short deck?
Yes, stakes selection will be the same as it is with standard poker.
