Split pots occur regularly in Zynga Poker. In Texas Hold'em poker, players are allowed to use any combination of cards from their whole cards and/or the board cards to make the best five-card hand. In the event of two or more players holding equal ranking hands at showdown, the pot is divided based on the total amount of chips on the table.

- You must make the best hand possible using exactly five cards
- All five cards are used in deciding the strength of the hand
- No cards outside of the best of five have any bearing on the strength of the hand (ie. Sixth card kickers do not exist)
In Zynga Poker, users involved in a split pot will all be deemed winners. We are looking at new options to communicate when a split pot has taken place.
