How do I manage notifications on Android?

To manage the notifications in any Android device (tablet or phone), just follow these steps:

Go to "Settings"
Go to "Apps" or "Application Manager"
Tap on the "Manage apps"
Tap or search for the application you want to manage.
Select "Notifications", and then activate/deactivate the checkbox for "Show Notifications"
