If your original island is connected to Facebook, Game Center, or Google, you can always recover your game on the same device, new device, or sync on multiple platforms.
You may refer to the steps provided:

To sync on a new device or multiple platforms:

  • Access your game on the old device and make sure you are properly connected to the Internet.
  • Access the App and make sure you have the latest DLC downloaded.
  1. Launch FV2: Tropic Escape on your device while connected to the Internet. This will enable your game to detect and download the updates available on our end.
  2. You will receive the Content Update prompt. Choose "YES" to restart the game app and sync the updates.
  3. Ensure that the game is linked to your Facebook account (Game Center or Google).

On the new device:

  • Access the game app and play through tutorials until game settings (gear icon) appear (or until you can freely navigate through the game).
  • Then log in to the same Facebook, Game Center, or Google Play account you used on the original device that has your updated progress.
  • Wait for your account to sync.
Note: If, by chance that you do not have your old device anymore but are sure that you have your game linked to your social networking account (Facebook, Game Center, or Google), you may start the recovery process from the On the new device section of the steps.

In addition, here are some tips to ensure that your game is always saved:
  1. Do not uninstall the game when performing troubleshooting steps. Re-installation will automatically generate you a new Player ID or a new game on your device. If you have uninstalled or re-installed the game, you'll need to reach level 4 to access Facebook, Game Center, or Google.
  2. Always check if you are online for your game progress to be saved correctly. To do this, tap the "social icon" on the upper right-hand corner of your game board.
  3. Keep in mind that you can only have one Tropic Escape game per Facebook, Game Center, or Google Play account.
  4. Secure your login credentials to avoid other players from accessing your game.
  5. If your game is linked only to the Game Center, you can only sync your game progress to iOS devices. This goes the same for Google, where it's limited to android devices only. Facebook, on the other hand, can be used on both types of devices.
