The island has been peaceful. The volcano has been silent, and the Monkey Temple has allowed visits from researchers, party-goers, and the fighters of evil alike.
However, that which sleeps may some day awaken again, and that day has come.
Dark and terrible entities from deep within the temple’s bowels are clawing their way up to the surface, and they must be stopped.
Tiki, taking charge, leads a team of able-bodied brave souls to fight back. Vigo the demon, Amy and Sarah Anderson, and Tiki defeated the evil once before, and they will have to do it again.
Or else, the island at large may pay the price.
If you are at least Level 18, you will receive an invite to join the Monkey Temple Resurgence event. You will need to force-close the game to see the update, or even reboot your device.
Start helping the monkeys by tapping the Monkey Temple which will improve as you progress during the event.
In the Monkey Temple map, there are 9 Statues that represent Monkey Gods.
These Monkey Gods require offerings. You can make them happy by supplying the orders for each Statue. The gods will then give you Blessings that you can use against the troublesome imps.
Tap the Statue to view the order you need to craft.
After you have completed an order, another Statue will become active and will unlock its order. You can reveal up to 3 Statue’s orders at a given time.
How to Get Moves
You have to reach the Statue to reveal the order and then supply them. That’s the only way your offerings will get accepted. To reach the Statues, you will need Moves to walk around the map.
You can earn Moves through different options:
- Complete orders from Kate, Helicopter or Wildlife Photo Missions.
- Purchase Moves by using Gems.
- Get free Moves through the Spinner. You can spin the Wheel for free after a given number of hours. If you do not want to wait, you can use Gems to spin the Wheel.
Personal Goals
For the event, you have Personal Goals to achieve. Tap the Rewards tab to view your progress for your Personal Goals. The goals must be completed within the time allotted for you to win rewards. Once you have completed your Personal Goal, you will win precious Consumable items to use on your island.
Club Goals
Work with your Club to earn Blessings together and get magnificent rewards! Tap the Rewards tab to view your Club’s progress. Your Club will receive amazing rewards upon reaching certain Goal Milestones.
Leaderboard
The gods will especially reward the ones who earn the most Blessings. Be in one of the top three positions in the Leaderboard to get the best rewards. There are two types of Leaderboard:
My Club - Contribute more Blessings to be the Top Contributor.
Global - Help your Club to get more Blessings to be on top of the Leaderboard.

Top Beach Club reward: temporary Island Guide
- Make your Club reach the top of the Leaderboard for round 1 to win Amy Anderson for a duration of 3 days.
- Make your Club reach the top of the Leaderboard for round 2 to win Sarah Anderson for a duration of 3 days.
- Make your Club reach the top of the Leaderboard for round 3 to win Vigo the Good Demon for a duration of 7 days.
Top Contributor reward: Harvestable Decoration
- Contribute the most Blessings for round 1 and round 2 to win Orb of Blessing for a duration of 3 days.
- Contribute the most Blessings for round 3 to win Guardian's Emissary for a duration of 7 days.
