Plants and Friends can be bought from the Ninja Kit, and will, now and then, produce coins for your Ninja to collect. All of these items - except the Squirrel and the Chicken - will appear on the far-left of the environment; tap them when you see them bouncing to collect your coins.  

Make sure you collect any acorns or eggs that the Squirrel and the Chicken have dropped too!
