Play with your favorite opponents and see your game relationship go on fire!

This feature operates on an ongoing game between you and another player and it does not affect your other events or progress in Words with Friends 2. Moreover, a streak is per player, therefore, if you have multiple games with an opponent, it is still a single streak.

Here’s how to play it:

1. You or your friend must play a move within 24 hours for two consecutive days.

2. On the third day of continuous game play, a fire emoji (showing 2) will appear indicating the start of the streak. The number beside it is the Days of streak.

3. One of you must play the next move within 24 hours from the previous move to maintain the streak.

Notes:

• Time is measured from the move played and not the calendar day.

• If you have multiple games with one player, play a move on
any of the games for the streak to remain bright and alive. You don’t have to play on all of the active games but we’re sure they would appreciate it.

4. The fire emoji will be highlighted in red if it is Expiring Soon. It means you have less than 3 hours to strike your move, otherwise, the streak will time out. Don’t miss this out by enabling notifications on your settings!

5. Keep the fire burning – there is no maximum number of days on a streak!

6. The streak cannot be paused and will be broken at the end of the 24th hour. Start a new streak with the same friend anytime simply by playing.

Notes:

• Click on
Play if you have an ongoing game where it is “your turn”. If you have multiple games, it will go to the game that has been open for the longest time.

• Click on
