Apple Game Center connection is provided by Apple on versions 53.0 of Words with Friends and Classic Words with Friends. This allows you to more easily find friends through the Apple Game Center App.
Your Apple Game Center connection does not change what you use to log into Words with Friends and is not an account recovery method, it is just a connection for finding friends, if you choose!
On iOS devices you may see one of two things:
- A prompt to login to Apple Game Center - you may ignore this or choose to login to Apple Game Center.
- A pop-up at the top of your screen when entering the game confirming your Apple Game Center account is logged in.
