The feature can be unlocked once a player has reached Puzzle 48.
How do I collect ingredients?
Ingredients will drop at random onto the puzzle board. Either get them to drop off the bottom of the board, swipe, or double-tap them. Swiping or double-tapping will result in a 3x3 blast, clearing gems, or damaging hazards.
Note that some ingredients are more rare than others. Collected ingredients will only be claimed if you win the puzzle. Ingredients that remain on the board after completing the puzzle are not claimed.
How do I complete recipes?
You can use the ingredients you collect to craft 6 different dishes which correspond to 6 different categories of rewards with 3 tiers of craftable items each for a total of 18 items. More complex recipes will include harder to find ingredients and will take more time to finish ‘crafting.’ When dishes are completed, you will receive corresponding rewards.
Note that if a dish is still ‘baking’ when the event ends it will still grant rewards when the timer finishes counting down.
Is this feature available offline?
As long as you are online to start the event, ingredients can be collected and recipes can be crafted while offline. Rewards received while offline will sync once you are connected online.
