Once your inventory for either the Barn or Silo is full, you will be prompted to upgrade the building. Get additional storage by tapping the Upgrade Now button.

You can also choose to upgrade these buildings by tapping the Barn OR Silo on your farm, then tap the arrow up button.

You will need materials to complete the upgrade. If you do not have enough materials, you can purchase them using your Gems.
