I leveled up Chad, Pauly, Buddy or Luna and I did not receive +5 Farmhand Energy. Is that a bug?

Unlocking Chad, Pauly, Buddy and Luna for the first time will provide you with +5 Farmhand Energy. Subsequent level ups will shorten their working times and energy requirements, but will not increase your Farmhand Energy cap.
